The name “Jaaja” comes from our beloved grandfather, who was fondly called Jaaja by his children. Today, we proudly carry forward his name through this venture, creating a space where comfort and care come together.

We are two cousins from the hills of Kodagu, based in Madikeri, united by a shared passion for travel, pets, and hospitality.

Naveen grew up surrounded by pets and has always been a passionate traveller. His love for exploring new places and understanding the finer details of travel has shaped the guest experience at Jaaja Groves. Every aspect of your stay reflects his commitment to making it comfortable and memorable—especially for those travelling with their furry friends.

Nandan Devaiah

Founding Member and Creative lead

Nandan brings his marketing expertise and creative vision to Jaaja Groves. He also runs a successful gifting business and has a keen eye for design. His creativity shines through in the Kaayam Kaad curation, where every element speaks of thoughtful design and artistry.

Soma Shekar

Partner and Facility Management

Soma Shekar is an accomplished civil engineer with a keen interest in hospitality and customer management. Naveen and Soma Shekar are class mates and friends from their 6h standard.
