Rustling Nest was built for our kids , a small but cozy home , red oxide floors, Tiled roof and among nature and tall trees. Our guests have provided several ideas / feedback and we have improved over the months.
We strive to provide our guests a village experience, a quite family time under one roof.
Please do ask for any facilities , if available we shall do the best to provide , if not available we will be honest and graciously decline it.​

Things to Note
Rustling Nest is not a hotel or a resort. Our home is managed by everyday folks.
1. It is a getaway and provides a near experience of a village stay .
2. Food can be ordered - Served what the local consume.
3. Please rinse and wash your plates [ dishes] .
4. Sugar cane/ Tender coconut available at a cost - please do ask for the same.
5. Hot Water - We being a village , the Power is unpredictable. We have a Fire wood boiler through which hot water is available. From 6am - 9am it is made available. Should guest need hot water in the evenings , they are requested to inform Nayaka , our care taker . It takes 15 minutes to fire up the hot water.
Pet food : Upon request Rice and any broth can be provided with charges .​Garbage Disposal : There isn't any proper disposal system in the village , therefore please do not bring any disposable plates/spoons etc. If there are plasticware/Bottles that are left behind we shall dispose them for a cost .

Please avoid bringing disposable plates—there’s no garbage disposal system in the village
If you need us to dispose of plastic bottles or covers, a charge of ₹100/day applies
Mosquito nets are available—please ask if needed
Our team retires for the day by 9:30 PM, so we request you to allow our team to rest by that time.

To defeat Tippu , British , Nizam and Maratha army camped for over 6 months across the river.
The Gouthama Kshetra has this legacy , a Maratha swami who settled here and it continues to this day .
1. Step outside and take left from our gate.
2. Take the immediate Right. follow the tar road until you get a Fork - stick to the left.
3. You will get a stream - Cross the brigde .
4. You will approach a wide Sand area - towards your left you will see a tar road - take that road to the end.
5. Enter the compound of Gauthama Kshetra - meet the swamii -introduce self as a guest of Naveen . OR
before Entering the compound , take the small trail towards the right it will lead you to the river. Once you see the boulders, walk to the left , go past the rocks where you see trees / Shade.
6. Pls slide into the water and DO NOT WALK.
